Championships weekend goes off without a hitch!!
Great baseball was played over the weekend at many diamonds in the Ottawa area. Championship games were played at RCGT Stadium in Ottawa. The weather was perfect and the baseball was exciting! 14U champions Ottawa Knights outlasted Montreal Titans to win the inaugural season of the Can-Am United Baseball League. Our other fine champions were the Diamond Baseball Academy, who came back to win twice to defeat the Montreal Titans at the 19U level. The Capital City Reds finished off MBA Academy in the 16U division in a closely fought battle to the end! We thank the organizers, volunteers, teams, officials and sponsors for all their great support to make the weekend a resounding success… Bravo!! |
